We arrived in Bali on the 7th, and have already done more than the slow internet connections here will allow us to show you. Some highlights: 3 hour trek through rice paddies (shown), fed monkeys in the monkey forest, saw a bat cave, went to a black sand beach, explored temples and palaces, went to a balinese jazz performance, visited textile and musical instrument factories, had a 2-hour massage, and got up close and personal with a very theatrical mask-maker. We've even learned a few Indonesian words, none of which we can remember right now.
