Back by popular demand, here's another opportunity to win glamorous prizes. First TWO readers to correctly identify this edible Indonesian object wins a "fruity" prize.
A Little Birdie quickly snagged the prize for the monkey-key post but her guess of a Balibarry is incorrect. There are still two prizes up for grabs...
We're highly excited about all the commenting this post illicited! Since we've moved onto another country, we'll finally reveal the correct answer: DURIAN. The durian is known for smelling so bad that it's illegal to plant it in some places. Supposedly the taste makes up for the smell, but both Kim and Anna tried it and then politely spit it back out into their hands.
Two people got it right -- A's mom and loyal reader Sarah Kissko, but both responded via email so they're void. We'll keep you posted on the next Sri Lankan-themed reader participation... If you're interested in trying a durian, they can be found in Chinatown!
