Kandy Botanical Gardens

We're here in Sri Lanka, on a whirlwind tour of the country's sites. We dreamed of Kandy being made of sugar plums and gumdrops, but really it's a busy city set on a lake. We spent two days here and even saw Buddha's tooth. Here we are in the Botanical Gardens, which were peaceful... except for the insane number of giant fruit bats.
