Known as the 8th wonder of the world, Sigiriya is a giant rock with an ancient castle on top. We climbed 1200 steps to get to the top, which was the most exercise we'd had in weeks.

On the way up, we saw these frescoes from the 1st century AD. There used to be more than 50 of these lovely ladies gracing the side of the rock, but now there are only 8 left.
